As an undergraduate, Cat Lamond’s passion for social justice led her to combat food insecurity in rural New England. Today, as part of the Parkside Group’s government relations team, she continues her efforts to ensure that the government is a positive force in people’s lives.
Cat works with non-profit organizations serving the most vulnerable New Yorkers as part of the Parkside Group’s industry-leading budgetary advocacy practice.
Her research, analysis, and operational support helps make the case for expanded government support for these organizations that provide health care for the sick, housing for the homeless, food for the hungry, and support for seniors, among other causes.
She began her career working in the tech industry, helping companies more effectively communicate.
Cat is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Mount Holyoke College and an avid equestrian.
